Strictly star makes heavy hint he’s partnered with Zara McDermott as he tells her boyfriend: “She’s safe with me.”
STRICTLY pro Neil Jones has made a big hint that he will be dancing with Love Island star Zara McDermott when the show returns later this year.
Neil, who is expecting his first child with his Love Island star fiancé Chyna Mills, has only had one celebrity relationship despite joining Strictly seven years ago.

Yesterday Neil commented on a video of Zara’s friend Sam Thompson talking about their time at Strictly.
He was interviewed by new Strictly It Takes host Fleur East together on Hits Radio about Zara’s participation in the dance competition and she asked him: “I have to ask if you’re up for it?”
“The first thought I have to ask you is are you a jealous person?”
Sam replied: “If you dance with someone else I’m cool as long as I play Fifa.”
Fleur also asked if Sam was willing to “date a new version of Zara” every week.
She said, “One week she’ll be in a waltz mood, next week she’ll be in a salsa mood,” and off camera someone else added, “Next week she’ll be having an affair with Neil.”
Sam replied, “Who is Neil?”
Neil responded to the post on Instagram, fueling the rumor mill by writing, “Don’t worry @samthompsonuk you’re definitely safe with me.”
Fans reacted to Neil’s comment, with one gushed: “Does that mean you have a celebrity partner this year? You and Alex were great!”
Another said: “Spoiler alert!”
Sam and Zara briefly split in 2020 when she admitted to cheating on him while she was on The X Factor: Celebrity.
The hunk finished fifth at Strictly in 2019 alongside footballer Alex Scott but was among the first couple to leave when he was paired with EastEnders legend Nina Wadia two years later.
Meanwhile, Zara has made history as the first Love Island star to be on Strictly.
Zara joins the likes of Strictly’s oldest-ever star, Angela Rippon, and Sherlock actress Amanda Abbington.
