A Strictly source said: “Some of them have experienced things they can’t explain.”

Inexplicable bumps, noises and incidents are said to have disrupted preparations for last night’s live launch show.

Some fear a supernatural presence at the iconic Elstree Studios in Hertfordshire – where the 21st series of the BBC ballroom show will be filmed over the next three months.

Now Strictly stars want executives to hire a spirit guide or psychic healer to cha-cha-cha-cha-cha-cha-cha-cha-cha-cha-cha-cha-cha all the ghouls after suspected poltergeist activity -Cha-Cha-Cha-Cha-Cha-Cha-Cha-Cha-Cha-Cha-Cha-Cha-Cha-Cha-Cha-Cha-Cha-Cha-Cha-Cha-Cha-Cha-Cha-Cha-Cha -Cha-Cha-Cha-Cha-Cha-Cha-Cha-Cha-Cha-Cha-Cha-Cha-Cha-Cha-Cha-Cha-Cha-Cha-Cha-Cha-Cha-Cha-Cha-Cha-Cha -Cha-Cha-Cha-Cha-Cha-Cha-Cha-Cha-Cha-Cha-Cha-Cha-Cha-Cha-Cha-Cha-Cha-Cha-Cha-Cha-Cha-Cha-Cha-Cha-Cha -Cha-Cha-Cha-Cha-Cha-Cha-Cha-Cha-Cha-Cha-Cha-Cha-Cha-Cha-Cha-Cha-Cha-Cha-Cha-Cha-Cha-Cha-Cha-Cha-Cha -Cha-Cha-Cha-Cha-Cha-Cha-Cha-Cha-Cha-Cha-Cha-Cha-Cha-Cha-Cha:

Judges Motsi Mabusi and Craig Revel Horwood as well as dancers Dianne Buswell, Katya Jones, Nadiya Bychkova and Nancy Xu are among those scared.

A Strictly source told The Sun on Sunday: “To say some of the professionals are hysterical at the thought of having to go back and spend a lot of time at Elstree is an understatement.”

“Some of the dancers and even one or two of the judges have experienced things they cannot explain.

“They are so concerned that they may hold a meeting with producers next week to voice their concerns and get help.”

“Some of them will ask BBC executives to bring in an energy healer or an expert in clearing buildings of ghosts and the paranormal.

“You could say it’s seen as the real bane of Strictly.”

The show has been accused of ending several relationships since it began in 2004.

But this year it seems as if the competitors have instead experienced an eerie tension that often alone gave goosebumps behind the scenes.

The spooky atmosphere was heightened by bosses, dancers and celebrities telling ghost stories as they planned the Halloween special.

The source added: “Some of them have made it very clear that they believe in the paranormal.

“They told each other their ghost stories and were really scared.

“But at the same time, there is a real desire to bring in an expert who can help them ease their fears.”

Films and television shows have been produced in Elstree since 1914 – including horror classics.

Jack Nicholson filmed the 1980 supernatural chiller “The Shining” there and the late Christopher Lee starred in a number of Dracula films there in the 1970s.

Yvette Fielding, who attended the Most Haunted show in 2005, said: “Famous cast and crew members whispered to each other about personal belongings being moved around in the dressing rooms, showers on full blast and worse, and the sounds of children and men whispering and singing.” , who growled when no one was there.”

She also warned about the Strictly Curse in 2021, saying she felt the presence of a malevolent spirit.

Yvette added: “Let’s just say there could be a more metaphysical reason for this too.

“I think the stars of Strictly should be on their guard – this particular spirit loves nothing more than to cause chaos and disruption.”

Last year, former Bros star Matt Goss, 55, told how he was visited by his mother’s ghost the night after he left Strictly.

Carol Philips died of cancer in 2014, but Matt said: “I was just lying in the dark listening to music.

“Then a bag fell off a shelf and then I said, ‘Mom, is that you?’ If it’s you, can the music stop?’

“And then the music stopped.

“Then it came back and did it again.

“It happened about five times.

“This incredible, warm feeling came over me.”

BBC news legend Angela Rippon, Corrie actress Ellie Leach, comedian Les Dennis, former tennis player Annabel Croft, Love Island’s Zara McDermott and newsreader Krishnan Guru-Murthy are among the 16 Strictly celebs this time.

A BBC spokesman declined to comment.
