Strictly’s Brendan Cole reveals his family are living in a tent in Mallorca after leaving the UK due to lockdown

STRICTLY Come Dancing pro Brendan Cole has revealed he’s sleeping in a tent with his family.
The Cole clan will remain in Mallorca this summer – only with the canvas roof over their heads – news exclusively revealed to The Sun.
The 47-year-old BBC One star, who left the show in 2018, has opened up about his “adventurous” plans for a glamping experience in Spain.
It comes as the Strictly Come Dancing favorite is set to visit the site of his sun-soaked holiday home.
Speaking to The Sun im RHS Hampton Court Flower Showhe explained: “We are carrying out a very nice renovation of our property in Mallorca.
“I have bought many houses over the years and always had intentions of renovating them but never got around to selling them and finally we are doing a thorough renovation of our house in Mallorca.”
“Because we’re doing the renovation we can’t actually live in the house, so the plan is to actually stay in a glamping tent on the property, which is nice, but if it gets too hot, which I’m afraid, we could Maybe I’ll just come back.
“We’ve stayed in it with the kids from time to time and probably had a moment of gin madness about three or four months ago when we took this giant bell tent with us on a couple of trips to Mallorca.”
Brendan will share the experience with Ms. Zoe and her brood.
The couple met in 2008 when they both attended a birthday party for mutual friend Rick Parfitt Jr.
Two years later, model Zoe and Brendan tied the knot at a wedding ceremony at Nether Winchendon House in Buckinghamshire.
In 2012, they had their first child, a daughter named Aurelia.
In 2018 they had their second child, this time a son named Dante.
Speaking of their camping adventures, he went on to tell us, “Strangely, a few months ago we were looking to rent a small apartment, and when we got to the hotel the day before we moved into the apartment, we got a call.” I said it was rented to someone else for a long period of time.
“So we had to get the bell tent out early and set it up!
“We stayed there with the kids for several weeks and it was a really fun, adventurous venture.” It was April, so we had a wood stove on and slept in the same room. And we really missed them when we came back.
“Now we’re going back in a few weeks. But if it’s too hot, maybe we’ll come back… But we have a grill right in front of the tent so we can cook and we have set up a solar shower.”
In 2018, Brendan – who has been on Strictly since the show began in 2004 – confirmed his contract with the BBC was not renewed and he would no longer be part of the TV talent series.
Speaking on the ITV program Lorraine, he said: “It’s actually quite difficult to talk about.”
“The BBC didn’t renew my contract. We get contracts year after year. They made an editorial decision not to have me back on the show. I’m a little shocked. I’m quite emotional, a little unmoved.
“It happens through a process of a phone call and so on. I’ve had 15 incredible streaks on the show. I’m very proud of the whole show. It’s a great team.”

Brendan’s behavior towards Shirley Ballas was apparently the last straw that broke the camel’s back for Strictly bosses who had decided enough was enough.
The Sun Online revealed the panel forced bosses to drop the dancer after he had an argument with the chief justice on the show.
