Strictly’s Nigel Harman speaks of pressure after topping leaderboard | Culture

Nigel Harman said he is “trying not to worry” about hitting the cap Be sure to come dance next week on the leaderboard after he and his dance partner Katya Jones scored top points in the first episode.

The show’s 21st season returned to screens last Saturday, where 50-year-old Harman and Jones took first place with 32 points from the judges.

The actor spoke about his Strictly dance at the Inside Soap Awards, where he won an award for best drama star in his role as clinical lead doctor Max Cristie Accident.

Partner Jones also joked that she was “stressed” about missing rehearsals for the evening.
