Styles P Says Drake Should Have ‘Checked’ 21 Savage Over Nas Remarks
Styles P says Drake should have checked out collaborator and close friend 21 Savage after the rapper called Nas “irrelevant”.
“I like 21 Savages. don’t love him; I like him very much. The shit he says tickles me pink and I’m like, ‘I can’t believe that n-gga said that!’ It’s stupid. I f-ck with him. My n-gga, you’re not a lyricist. F-ck all of that,” he told Math Hoffa and his crew.
21 faced backlash from the hip-hop community for his comments. He then clarified that he would never disrespect Nas, but it was too late.
“Have Drake say to that n-gga, ‘Chill, this is Nasir Jones.’ My n-gga, you’re talented, you’re goofy, you’re damn good, your taste, you mean a lot to the culture, you matter…[But] you are not one of them. You’re not a deep three-point shooter. Nas is. Drake is to say, “That’s me. Kendrik is. cabbage is. You are not. Leave him alone, that’s our OG.”
