Super Bowl: Five things to know about Jason and Travis Kelce

In the summer of 2021 — when the Kelce brothers had 10 Pro Bowl selections, three Super Bowl appearances, and two Super Bowl wins in their NFL careers — Travis dropped a bombshell during a podcast interview.

“My real name is ‘Kelss,'” he said on an episode of Bussin’ With the Boys, sparking a minor uproar among NFL fans who feared we’d been mispronouncing the name for a decade.

Well, my father completely changed his last name out of sheer laziness. And now I think we’ve gotten to the point where we’re both riding Ed Kel-see. For some reason, he decided to change it, and we’ve done that our entire lives.” Super Bowl: Five things to know about Jason and Travis Kelce
