Tank Defends Babyface Over Anita Baker Tour Drama

Tank defends Babyface after Anita Baker slammed him on social media and announced he was removed from her tour.

“It’s really hard for me to watch one of my heroes, one of the nicest people around, just be attacked and vilified for no reason,” Tank said to the camera.

“When a man is accused of doing something that didn’t work at all. He apologized to his fans for not being able to perform after being told he was unable to perform. So somehow everything that happens after that is his fault? And then you kick him off the tour? I want to respect my elders, I do. Stay out of grown-up business, they say. But someone has to say something. baby face? Do that with Babyface?! Don’t you all think that’s wrong? Doesn’t something seem wrong?”

Babyface was allegedly removed because his fans became disrespectful when he was unable to perform on one of his tour dates.

“He didn’t do anything! He said nothing! Nobody will say anything? We have to protect our black women and I understand where you are. But who will protect our black men? Our black heroes? This guy?” Tanks asked.

Is he right?
