But Swift fans hoping for presale tickets to the “Eras” shows earlier this week have been mired in issues with Ticketmaster’s website, including website errors, constant browser updates, and hours of wait time that lead to deadlocks.
Many seemed to have issues with Ticketmaster’s verified fan purchase process, which required people to register in order to pre-purchase tickets. The ticket seller’s program runs through November 9th and aims to give those who eventually receive a code exclusive access to purchase tickets on November 15th. But Verified Fans doesn’t guarantee a ticket to Swift’s shows, instead promising to “ensure only fans invited to purchase tickets,” according to Ticketmaster’s registration confirmation.
On the registration page, Ticketmaster noted that “demand for Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour tickets is expected to be overwhelming.”
All other public ticket sales begin November 18 at 10 a.m. local time.
