Taylor Swift tour: Ticketmaster sued after messy tour ticket sale

Swifties are taking action after last month’s chaotic Taylor Swift tour ticket sales.

A group of their fans are suing Ticketmaster over a list of violations.

They accuse Ticketmaster and its parent company Live Nation of allowing most concert tickets to be bought from resellers.

The lawsuit seeks a civil fine of $2,500 per violation.

That would be a lot of money, because around two million tickets were sold.

A Senate antitrust committee said it would hold a hearing on the lack of competition in the ticketing industry.

Swift has since apologized to her fans for the situation.
