Team Ninja Reveals Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty, Releasing Early 2023

Koei Tecmo Games and Team Ninja have unveiled Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty, and it’s coming to Xbox consoles and PC next year.

Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty, revealed during today’s Xbox & Bethesda Games Showcase, looks quite similar to Team Ninja’s Nioh series as it features a ninja-like character who fights not only against humans but also against monstrous and demonic ones monster fights. The reveal trailer, which you can watch below, doesn’t include any gameplay, but it gave us a good taste of the Fallen Dynasty world.

As you can see in the trailer above, the character who appears to be the protagonist of Fallen Dynasty fights barbaric enemies before consuming something that transforms him into a giant demon dragon monster that looks terrifying. Here’s what the trailer description for Fallen Dynasty says about the game:

“Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty follows the dramatic, action-packed story of an unnamed militiaman struggling to survive in a dark fantasy version of the later Han Dynasty, where demons plague the Three Kingdoms. Players fight deadly creatures and enemy soldiers with swordplay based on Chinese martial arts and try to overcome the odds by awakening the true power from within.”

It looks great, if a little scary, and luckily we don’t have to wait too long to check it out because Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty is coming to Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, and PC in early 2023.
