What are the capabilities of rubber armor?

The Rubber Armor is a deceptively useful armor set once all the pieces are put together, as shown in the video above. Damage caused by electricity is drastically reduced, even before the armor is fully upgraded.

And as shown in the video, Once all pieces of rubber armor have been upgraded at least twice, the Lightning Proof ability will be unlocked.
