Tears Of The Kingdom – Rubber Armor Sets Locations

While players loved the outside-the-box thinking that Breath Of The Wild offered them, one game mechanic that still surprised many was how easy it was for Link to get struck by lightning every time it rained. The threat of a beating still lingers in Tears Of The Kingdom, but there’s now an armor set to help ease the sting Enemies who love electricity.
Consider this Rubber armor A reward for dealing with electric shocks, as you’ll face a good handful of lightning bolts as you get the full set.
Updated by Wyatt Grondin on November 20, 2023: Added a video clip showing the Thunderproof and reduced electricity damage abilities of the Rubber Armor set.
Where to find the rubber armor
The main part of the rubber armor is in Whistling Cave at coordinates -0072, -1046, 0019. The cave is directly above the Teniten Shrine
The entrance to the cave is blocked by a large rock wall. Claymores can Destroy rock wallsand this also applies to weapons fused with a stone or boulder. If you don’t mind using the precious resource, you can also destroy this rock wall with a Bomb Flower.
There will be many enemies in this cave, and quite a few of them will use it lightning based attacks. Basically, the reward you get for reaching the end of this cave is something that would have made this particular journey a lot easier. The Keese are particularly annoying as their zaps can cause Link to drop his held weapon or bow. During a ranged attack, keep your distance as much as possible. Only one or two should manage to kill these bats.
To get further into the cave, You must burn these vines with fire. Throwing or shooting red ChuChu jelly or a fire fruit will do, or even a weapon fused with rubies. As you progress there will be more enemies, the most dangerous being the I like it. I like it. A certain like indicates that you have finally come to the right place.
A electric Like Like will be your final obstacle. Although it looks even deadlier than the regular version, the same rules apply to killing. Only Have it expose the weak spot in its mouth and hit it until it dies.
Next, aim a bomb flower at the rock wall on the ceiling or try to throw a weapon that destroys it.
Now you can finally open the chest that contains it Rubber armor.
Where can I find the rubber helmet?
For the helmet go to Sarjon Woods Cave at coordinates 1206, -3168, 0028. This cave is located in the bottom center of the map and between Highland and Lakeside stables.
This cave is a bit of a strange place for the armor as there are no electric enemies there. Instead, It’s a long stream that you either have to swim down (unless you already have craftable rafts thanks to Instabuild), leaving you at the mercy of the river. However, if you have the Zora armor and good stamina, you may find this easy. This will help you especially when it comes to this the vines, as you can swim between them, whereas on a raft you would have to destroy them.
Later you will find trees that have already been felled, which you can put together if necessary. The only advantage of riding on a raft or on these trees is this There are a few Horriblins, but you can simply swim to a rock on the side and shoot them into the stream with an arrow to kill them instantly. There is also a “like” sound right after where you find the trees, but the current is fast enough that you can go right past it without fighting it.
In each cave Misko has hidden a piece of armor, there is a Bubbulf frog, but they are usually on a different path. For Sarjon Woods, This Bubbulfrog will let you know you’re about to fall over a waterfall. Drop your raft if you’re on one and get ready to paraglide.
Right in front of where you will crash is the treasure chest with the Rubber helmet.
Where to find the rubber tights

At coordinates 4244, -0254, 0000, You will find a hole in the ground that will lead you there Horon Lagoon Cave. This cave hole is surrounded by water and is right next to it West of Talus Plateau and Memory #9.
At the beginning of the cave you have the option to grab a wooden plank and float down. Without a way to push this further, it’s not too good of an option. Again, it might be best to swim in Zora armor.
This time there are no enemies, but they are there a long rail of spikes in the water. This is how the water works in Horon Lagoon Cave There is a tide that rises and falls.
Just wait until The tide rises over these peaks and swims over them.
You swim to a small island in the middle from which you can see something a wall of fragile stones on the ceiling. If you don’t want to waste an arrow or bombflower, you don’t have to. On this island there is a spear and a stone that you can put together, then aim and throw at the wall. You have to throw the spear twice to break the stones.
You just have to climb up to the hole to find the treasure chest that contains this Rubber tights.
How to upgrade rubber armor

What are the capabilities of rubber armor?
The Rubber Armor is a deceptively useful armor set once all the pieces are put together, as shown in the video above. Damage caused by electricity is drastically reduced, even before the armor is fully upgraded.
And as shown in the video, Once all pieces of rubber armor have been upgraded at least twice, the Lightning Proof ability will be unlocked. This ability means Link does not take lightning damage when wearing full rubber armor. This works in both a natural storm and summoned thunderstorms during a battle with a Thunder or King Gleeok.
