Teen rushed to hospital after horror Glasgow stabbing as cops hunt attacker

A teenager has been stabbed to death in a horror attack in East Glasgow.

The 16 year old boy was attacked on Langbar Crescent, Easterhouse at around 7.45pm last night.

He was taken to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital with serious injuries.

Doctors have since said they are not life-threatening.

The police cordoned off the area and went in search of the attacker.

Police are appealing for witnesses to come forward.

Detective Constable Nicola Baird said: “The investigation into the circumstances of the attack is ongoing and we are asking anyone with information or who has witnessed suspects in the area to come forward.

“You can contact the police by dialing 101 and quoting Incident 3743 of August 18, 2023.

“Alternatively, you can call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 if you wish to remain anonymous.”
