Next week, Fast X is coming to theaters after a slight delay and director change from Justin Lin Louis Leterrier. Even if it might not be reality penultimate end Although the series looked like this at first, you can clearly sense the finality that is looming on the horizon as an “everyone is here!” phrase is heard throughout various trailers and promos. Air for Dominic Toretto and the rest of the main cast from previous films.

The longer the Fast As the franchise progresses, it’s increasingly easy to look back at the show and think about how weird its storyline was. In 2001, the series initially seemed like “point break, but with cars,” and Vin Diesel’s Dom appeared to be the coolest guy ever as he and his gang used stunt rides to steal DVD players. The series has always existed on a heightened level of reality, but in 2011 Fast five is the universally acknowledged point at which it became a full-fledged superhero franchise. (In addition to being the tipping point where audiences agree it’s really good for broad appeal rather than a specific demographic.) It’s got everything you could want: a huge safe, um plundering through Brazil: “This is BRAZIL!” ‘ and Dwayne Johnson at the perfect intersection of ‘animated character’ and ‘real world threat’.

Since then, every film has escalated in one way or another. As with the Impossible Mission series, there is at least one big highlight stunt used in the trailers, but there are some other impressive set pieces as well. For this week’s Open Channel, we want to hear your favorite moments from the Fast movies. Maybe it’s something big like a skyscraper angry 7, Maybe it is Fast 4s ridiculous moment Dom plays the private detective. Or maybe it’s something from Hobbs & Shaw….you know, if you still remember a lot of things from that film. Let us know in the comments below.

Fast X will hit theaters this Friday, May 19. io9 should publish a review for the film in the next few days.
