Tenerife’s top-rated family resorts to book for 2024 summer holidays – with waterparks & kid-friendly activities
TENERIFE takes center stage when it comes to family-friendly beach holidays.
The Spanish island is home to hundreds of family-friendly resorts with kid-friendly clubs, activities and water sports, as well as hotels with on-site water parks.

Most amenities will be available at the resorts, but there is still work to be done on the island.
There are boat tours, countless kilometers of sandy beaches, water sports and hiking trails, among other things.
Tenerife is also home to Siam Park, the number one water park in the world on TripAdvisor.
Other parks are the zoo and animal parks Loro Parque and Aqualand Costa Adeje.

1. Tagoro Family & Fun Costa Adeje
Tagoro Family & Fun Resort features an outdoor freshwater pool with a heated children’s section and a splash park with water guns, water tipping buckets and sprinklers.
A kids’ club for children 12 and under is available daily until 4 p.m. and includes a range of activities such as arts and crafts, sports, music, and some video game time.
The children’s playground is open all day and features swings, slides and a climbing frame.

2. HOVIMA La Pinta Beachfront Family Hotel
HOMIVA La Pinta Resort is located on the beach and is less than 1 mile from the center of Costa Adeje Resort.
The hotel has two outdoor pools and a splash park with water cannons and a waterfall.
There are two bars, including a snack bar and a cocktail bar, and two restaurants, including a buffet and an a la carte restaurant serving international cuisine.
During the day there is a kids’ club for children between six months and three years and one for older children up to twelve years.

3. Compostela Beach Golf Apartments and Siam Park – Splash World
The apartments at Compostela Beach Golf have a private pool with a children’s section and a pool bar.
Siam Park water park is a five minute drive from the apartments and guests have unlimited access.
The water park features many rides, including nine slides, waterfalls, a giant wave pool, and the Tower of Power, a 90-foot (28 m) water slide with speeds of up to 47 mph as you ride through an aquarium full of sharks and rays.

4. Iberostar Las Dalias – Costa Adeje
Located in the heart of Costa Adeje, the Iberostar Las Dalias has three outdoor pools, including one for children and one for adults only.
Various children’s clubs are available for children aged four to seventeen and there is an entertainment program every evening with live music, magic shows and dance parties, including a mini disco.
The hotel also offers a range of sports and activities for both children and adults, including darts, squash, aqua aerobics and more.
Siam Park water park is also a three-minute drive from the hotel and features more than 20 water rides and slides.

5. Royal Sun Suites Apartments
Perched on the cliffs, the Royal Sun Suite Apartments offer guests sea views from anywhere in the resort.
The best place to take in the incredible scenery is at the two tier pool area. The large pool on the lower level features a whirlpool, while the children’s pool on the upper level features cascading waterfalls.
All apartments are equipped with a 40″ TV, a large terrace with sun loungers and a kitchenette.
The kids’ club is open until 10 p.m. daily, but requires parental supervision at all times.

6. Hard Rock Hotel Tenerife
The Hard Rock Hotel in Tenerife has three pools and is located right on Playa Paraiso Beach, where guests will find bars with live bands and DJs.
There’s a children’s pool with its own swim-up bar for snacks and drinks, as well as a kids’ club and “lullaby club” for toddlers up to three years old.
The Teen Spirit hangout is also open daily and offers board games, video game consoles and a place to hang out with their peers for children ages eleven to sixteen.

7. Paradise Park Fun Lifestyle Hotel
Paradise Park Fun Lifestyle Hotel has two adult-only pools and a children’s area in the main pool with an inflatable obstacle course.
The Atlantida outdoor pool features hot tubs, a whirlpool and hydromassage sunbeds and is located in the neighboring amusement park.
There is a kids’ club with activities and a mini disco, as well as live music and entertainment every night.
The hotel has two restaurants, one serving lunch and the other is a buffet restaurant that serves local and international cuisine with live cooking stations.

8. LABRANDA Suites Costa Adeje
Labranda Suites Resort is ideal for little ones as it has a play area, children’s pool, splash park, and kid-friendly meals.
The kids’ clubs offer various activities throughout the day ranging from outdoor games to team building activities, painting and themed parties.
While the kids let off steam at the kids’ club, adults can enjoy massages at the spa, head to the fitness center overlooking the garden, or relax on the rooftop sunbathing terrace with great views of the surrounding mountains.
