A CAR tumbles on the edge of a sinkhole that suddenly opened up in the street.
The black Skoda Fabia remained pinned with its front wheel while a rear wheel left the ground.
Its elderly driver was shaken but unharmed and was helped out of the car by barber shop owner Russell Gull.
He said: “The first thing that caught my eye was a man warning us of a pothole.
“One car went around, but the next just went straight and dived right into it.
“We helped the guy, he was older but seemed okay just a little shaken up.”
Local residents in Worksop, Notts, said the area was prone to cavities because the road was built over an old drain.
Police closed the road after the incident on Saturday morning.
