A political row within the National Association of Attorneys General reveals some unsavory practices that deserve more public attention. One question is whether Republican AGs are willing to walk away if the group doesn’t form.

NAAG – no acronym jokes please – bills itself as the national forum for state and territory AGs. She is said to be non-partisan, but steers to the left. A sign of this trend is the Group’s close ties to litigators who bring tort claims on behalf of the AGs and then pass on a portion of the settlement proceeds to NAAG.
