Former “The Bachelorette” star Nayte Olukoya has denied rumors that he cheated Michelle Young.

For their part, the duo had decided to call off their engagement this month after dating for less than a year. During this process speculation surfaced that things were not going well between the two as Michelle was pictured without her engagement ring.

While Michelle denied there was any disharmony, attributing it to a friend taking it off her finger, the fact that the couple’s split was announced shortly after that event suggested things weren’t going well walked.

But any claims that Nayte cheated on Michelle have been brutally quashed. In his comments, Nayte said: “No, I didn’t cheat. Not every breakup has to have a culprit. Yes, many of you seem to be painting me as a Red Flag/f—k boy.

“But I’m actually a decent guy and I just want to get better.” This begs the question: What was the reason for the breakup? Well, we’re no closer to the truth until now.

The two made it clear that they wanted to protect their privacy when announcing their split. Not only that, but given that this split is very fresh in memory, it’s unfeasible to expect both sides to divulge all the details.

Barring a statement to the contrary, however, the breakup could have happened for the following reasons. First off, the duo may have had different priorities in their lives. Second, since the cameras weren’t on them anymore, it’s a completely different feeling when the relationship translates to the real world.

Regardless of the reason for this separation, Nayte made it clear that his intentions were pure. His following comments Approved So much: “Yes, I really believed that Michelle was my person.”
