The best airlines in the world revealed and two in America make the top 10

THE best airlines in the world were announced – and two American airlines made the top 10.

Travel expense reimbursement website AirHelp has analyzed the best and worst airlines for 2022.

A number of factors contributed to the results, including arrival and departure times to see how many of the airline’s flights were on time.

They also used thousands of customer reviews that rated airline food, comfort and crew, and how airlines handled compensation requests.

The best airline in the world was Qatar Airways with a rating of 8.11.

However, both United Airlines (8.07) and American Airlines (7.74) made the top 10.

4. Etihad Airways 7.98
5. LATAM Airlines 7.95
6. Eurowings 7.92
7. China Airlines 7.76
8. American Airlines 7.74
9. Japan Airlines (JAL) 7.74
10. Austrian Airlines 7.67

The UK fared poorly, with Virgin Atlantic finishing 34th.

Commenting on the score, Tomasz Pawliszyn, CEO of AirHelp, said that both “British and European airlines” failed to make the top 10.

They added: “With our AirHelp Score we are trying to bring holidaymakers and travelers closer to our collection of worldwide flight data.

“Airlines and airports, in turn, can use the comparison to move forward.

“As a flight compensation company, our goal is not only to educate passengers about their rights, but also to create a satisfying flight experience.”

AirHelp also analyzed the best airports in the world, although American didn’t make the top 10.

Tokyo Haneda International Airport in Japan ranked first, with the United States’ highest airport, Houston George Bush Intercontinental Airport, ranking 14th.

A traveler who’s been on more than 2,000 flights also reviewed airline meals and revealed which two airlines have the best.

Here are also the best low-cost airlines in the world.

A number of low-cost airlines have even announced plans to connect the US to Europe with low-cost direct flights next year.
