As Amazon ushers in the eighth year of Prime Day, they’ve decided to up the ante. Rather than just offering Black Friday-worthy savings in July, they’re offering additional exclusive Black Friday-worthy savings in the form of invite-only offers.
These deals are turning heads with some seriously impressive discounts. So we created this guide so you can make sure you don’t miss out on saving some money. Below are our favorite picks from Amazon’s invitation-only options. Don’t forget to check out our updated list of the best deals to buy ahead of Prime Day.
What are invite-only Prime Day deals?
Inevitably, on Prime Day (and deals like it) there are particularly popular items that sell out quickly once they’ve dropped to the sale price. The idea behind the invite-only offers is that you don’t have to be glued to your computer screen on July 11th and 12th (the official sale dates) to get these offers.

Instead, you can request access to invite-only deals from now until any time before Prime Day. Not everyone who requests access will be selected to shop the deals, but the lucky group will receive emails with unique shopping links during the Prime Day event.
So far, only ten offers are available by invitation only(opens in a new tab) (seven of which we think are worth signing up for), including yield price cuts and new all-time lows, like an Amazon Fire Omni Series TV(opens in a new tab) for 75% off and JBL headphones(opens in a new tab) for 55% discount.
Who can access Prime Day offers by invitation only?
Prime Day is an offer specifically for Prime members. While we’ve found numerous deals leading up to Prime Day that are available to both members and non-members, invitation-only deals are available exclusively to Prime members.
If you don’t want to pay for a Prime membership just for the chance of an invite, you can also sign up(opens in a new tab) for a 30-day free trial.
How to buy invite-only Prime Day deals
Below we’ve listed the best offers by invitation only. However, if you want to navigate to them yourself, you can find them in the “Invitation-Only Prime Offers” sections of Amazon’s Today’s Offers page(opens in a new tab) and Prime Day events page(opens in a new tab).
Here’s what you need to do to secure your invitation:
-
Request an invite. To take advantage of the savings, you must notify Amazon of your interest anytime before Prime Day by navigating to an invitation-only offer on the right-hand side of the page. Click on “Request an invitation” and you will receive a pop-up confirming that your request has been received.

Once you have successfully requested an invitation, a confirmation will appear on the screen.

Sit back and wait. At this point you have done all there is to do. You can claim as many of the invitation-only offers as you like, but you can only claim each item once, so you don’t have to go back and do it every day. (Silence to the idea of getting four Omni TVs for the price of one.)
-
Check your email on Prime Day. On July 11th and 12th, Amazon will be sending out invitations with unique links to those chosen to purchase the items at special prices. If you are not selected, you will also receive a notification from Amazon. Make sure your inbox doesn’t mark Amazon emails as spam!
