Public Health Commentator Leana Wen can refer to the biblical saying that a prophet is never honored in his own house. A few years ago, she was ousted as president of Planned Parenthood for not being radical enough on the abortion issue. Now the one-time supporter of the government’s Covid mandates is enduring the wrath of public health campaigners for saying we must learn to live with Covid.

dr Wen, a CNN commentator, was once a defender of the government’s vaccination and mask mandates. Last fall, she opined that the Biden administration’s vaccination mandates didn’t go far enough. “Why hasn’t Biden announced that he will be mandating vaccinations for air and train travel?” she said.
