The Coolest Games We Played At Summer Game Fest 2022

Last year, Unpacking captivated players with its meditative approach to unfolding a narrative as you help an unseen character place their belongings in each new living space they move into. A Little To The Left doesn’t offer the same experience as that popular title, but if you enjoyed Unpacking’s chilled puzzle vibes, A Little To The Left is probably for you. A Little To The Left, developed by a two-person team, gives you household items to organize.
Not only are these seemingly simple puzzles satisfying to solve and easy to play, they often contain many solutions. For example, the puzzle pictured above where you organize keys can be solved by sorting the keys by the number of holes or by organizing them by length. As you play through the various puzzles, new elements hinder and enhance your progress, such as: B. a cat who likes to cause trouble, surreal scenarios or even ever-changing physics. The charming art style and accessible puzzle design make this indie game one to watch when it launches this fall. – Brian Shea
