Shortages, caused by a mix of supply chain problems and recalls, have resulted in empty shelves at some stores, limited products and dismayed parents and shoppers. Panicked care looking for formula to feed their baby…

Supply chain problems caused by the Covid-19 pandemic have made baby formula harder to find for months. Shortages worsened after Abbott Laboratories, a large formula maker, voluntarily recalled some products and closed a plant that made the products in Sturgis, Mich.
