Dawson’s Creek followed the lives of a group of American teenagers as they make the transition from high school to college.

James starred on the teen show alongside Katie Holmes, Joey Potter, Joshua Jackson and Michelle Williams.

The series had six successful 128-episode series before ending in the early 2000s.

Following his role on the hit series, James has starred in a number of popular shows and films.

His roles include characters on Criminal Minds, Ugly Betty, Don’t Trust the B—- in Apartment 23 and Modern Family.

But in 2020, James announced he was leaving Los Angeles and moving to Texas with his wife, Kelly Brook, and their six children.

Although James hasn’t been on our screens for three years, he has a large following on social media and loves to keep his fans up to date on his activities.

His Instagram bio reads, “#husband, #dad, #writer, professional semblance, work in progress.”

The star has over a million followers on the platform.
