‘The Flash’ actor Ezra Miller charged with felony burglary in Vermont

STAMFORD, Vermont– Actor Ezra Miller has been charged with burglary in Stamford, Vermont, the latest in a series of incidents involving the embattled The Flash star.

In a report Monday, Vermont state police said they responded to a May 1 burglary report in Stamford and found that several bottles of alcohol were stolen from an apartment building while the homeowners were not present. Miller was charged after police viewed surveillance footage and interviewed witnesses.

According to the police report, Miller was located just before midnight Sunday and received a subpoena to appear in court on Sept. 26 in the Vermont Supreme Court.

The felony charge adds to Miller’s mounting legal troubles and reports of erratic behavior. The 29-year-old actor was arrested twice in Hawaii earlier this year, including for disorderly conduct and harassment at a karaoke bar. The second incident involved second degree assault.

The parents of 18-year-old Native American activist Tokata Iron Eyes also filed a protection order against Miller earlier this year, accusing the actor of nurturing their child and other inappropriate behavior with her when she was a minor from the age of 12. Tokata Iron Eyes recently told Insider that these allegations are false.

Miller’s attorneys did not immediately respond to requests for comment on the Vermont felony charges or the protective order related to Tokata Iron Eyes.

After appearing as the Flash in several films for Warner Bros. and DC Films, Miller is starring in the upcoming standalone film The Flash, which is slated for release in June 2023. The studio has suggested it remains committed to the release of The Flash .

In an earnings report last week, Warner Bros. Discovery CEO David Zaslav referred to “The Flash.” “We saw ‘The Flash’, ‘Black Adam’ and ‘Shazam 2’. We are very excited about it,” said Zaslav. “We think they’re great and we think we can make them even better.”

Warner Bros. officials did not respond to messages Monday.
