The Game says its Eminem-directed diss track ‘The Black Slim Shady’ wasn’t meat at all.
“Just because nobody actually does it doesn’t make it personal as far as it’s personal,” Game said.
“I also bumped into Em. I remember the first time “Hi, My Name Is” came out… I had the same feeling when I heard that when I first heard Big’s “Juicy”. So, yeah, I used to shag Em, and then, you know, the whole Aftermath and Shady thing. He was in The Documentary. I think me and the fallout of the 50’s made him choose sides and he didn’t do the shit I did. ‘I’m leaving at 50, f-ck her n-ggas.’”
He says the Super Bowl brought back old feelings.
“I just felt like I had a little bit of emotion about the Super Bowl and all of that. And that’s Dre’s boy, and Dre doesn’t rap,” he said. “So it’s like, if I want to have a chat with Dre or I’m mad at Dre, let me shoot Eminem. And 50 can’t top me, he’s doing his TV thing and more power to him, the shows are great. But as far as rap sh-t goes, I’m done with that. The only person I could rap with or try to poke the bear and see if he really wants to go there is Em.”
