The committee on Thursday issued orders to five GOP members of Congress to testify about the events surrounding the January 6 riots in the Capitol. Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (California) and representatives Scott Perry (Pa.), Jim Jordan (Ohio), Andy Biggs (Ariz.) and Mo Brooks (Ala.) declined to answer committee questions , so they’re getting a lot of unprecedented subpoenas.
