Jake played Lizzie’s younger brother, who is always up to no good and tries to ruin his big sister’s life with his silly but hilarious pranks.

When the show began, Jake was only 11, now 31, and more than 22 years later, unrecognizable.

Of course, he was just a kid when the series first aired, but even the most devoted Lizzie McGuire fan would have a hard time identifying him these days.

The child star has grown quite a distinctive mustache and regularly posts life updates on his Instagram account.

Jake recently decided to don a Team McGuire jacket from his 2000s TV wardrobe and do a photoshoot for his fans so they can indulge in nostalgia.

Since the show – credited as his breakthrough performance – Jake has starred in Steven Spielberg’s film AI Artificial Intelligence before graduating from high school and then California State University with a degree in screenwriting and Japanese.

Though he continued to work as an actor – with shows like Emergency Room, Cory in the House, CSI Miami, Rules of Engagement, Criminal Minds, and House complementing his roles well – he has Jake slightly changed direction in his career.

He now focuses on his work as a commercial entertainment photographer and director.

During his appearance on the Wild ‘Til 9 Podcast with hosts Lauren Riihimaki and Jeremy Lewis, Jake spoke about his time with Lizzie McGuire.

The podcast’s official Instagram account posted a short clip with the caption, “Anybody auction?”

In the Video Jake is now a world away from the cheeky young prankster who graced our screens in the noughties.

He was set to reprise his role in the continuation of the series on Disney+, however the series was canceled before it could release in December 2020.

The series skyrocketed the career of its lead actor, Hilary Duff, and the now 34-year-old actress took on some major leading roles after the series ended.

The Disney Channel comedy followed the life of high school student Lizzie McGuire as she navigated life as a teenager.

The series also starred Lalaine Vergara-Paras as Miranda, Adam Lamberg as Gordo, and Hallie Todd and Robert Carradine as Lizzie’s hilarious parents.
