The Legends of Tomorrow Will Return for Flash’s Final Season

Praise bee bo, my friends. While many familiar faces return for The LightningIn season nine, it won’t just be Iris’ friends and family west clan. Showrunner Eric Wallace has revealed that the fan favourite Legends of Tomorrow pour will make one performance, almost certainly for the last time.
While this is wonderful news, it’s a bit bittersweet. Wallace said he was hoping to do two episodes of The Lightning wrap up legends‘ Storyline – if you recall, the show ended with everyone stuck in 1916 and arrested by the police of the time – but has been since FlashThe ninth season was limited to 13 episodes, his original plan was scrapped. As he said The nerds of color Podcasts:
“[M]Their original concept was to have at least one –if not a two-parter—packed that Legends of Tomorrow. And you know, there’s going to be a little crossover, we’re getting them back, we’re getting them out of time jail, all these good things, booster gold, etc, etc. When we found out we only had 13 episodes, that wasn’t anymore possible . We barely have enough time to wrap up Barry and Iris’ upcoming family…”
So we have no idea how the legends will appear or why or what state they will be in (however, I assume Barry won’t waste any time rescuing them from time prison). But no matter what happens, it will be great to see her one last time. If The Lightning ends later this year, so does the Arrowverse. I am certain we will be getting something nearing a proper farewell for those ankle buttons, no matter how abbreviated it may be.
