The Love Island couple spark shared fears as they engage in “tense” conversations and look “miserable” backstage at NTAs

LOVE Island’s Whitney Adebayo and Lochan Nowacki have sparked divided fears after they were spotted in “tense” conversations backstage at the National Television Awards last night.

Several viewers said the couple “looked miserable” and were unhappy at being in each other’s company at the star-studded party.

Guests commented that the couple appeared “distant” throughout the night, and some feared the couple is on the verge of breaking up.

In our exclusive video, the couple could be seen looking dejected while deep in conversation at the afterparty.

A partygoer told The Sun: “Whitney and Lochan looked a little down and miserable on what must have been the best night of the year.”

“They were seen quietly chatting away from their group of friends.

“Sometimes they looked a bit fed up and Whitney didn’t seem impressed.

“They are a great couple, so it’s worrying to see them showing signs of a breakup just weeks after the official announcement.”

Whitney looked glamorous in a sequined green ball gown, while up-and-coming TV chef Lochan looked dapper in a black suit.

It comes just two weeks after the couple announced they’ve taken a big step in their relationship.

In July, Whitney and Lochan, both 25, narrowly missed out on the £50,000 prize for Love Island winners Jess Harding and Sammy Root.

The couple decided to make their relationship official.

He said to Whitney, “Cheers too for our second week away from the mansion, your favorite meal made by the only one and for being my friend…”

A surprised Whitney said: “I’m your girlfriend? You managed!”
