The Love Island winner cryptically defends himself against the All Stars spin-off as he refuses to return to the show

A LOVE Island winner has taken a cryptic swipe at the show’s All Stars spin-off for refusing to return.
Chris Hughes shot to fame when he appeared on the third series of the hit ITV2 dating show.
He entered the TV villa in 2017 and linked up with Olivia Attwood.
The now ex-couple won the hearts of viewers and was chosen as the winner of “Love Island”.
But despite the show kick that started Chris’ TV career, a return is unlikely any time soon.
In conversation with OK! Magazine, he dashed fans’ hopes of seeing him in the show’s All-Stars series titled “The Games.”
He said: “I did Love Island and if I had one experience I wouldn’t want to do it again.”
“It just tarnishes it. I don’t feel like the experience would do anything for me now that I’ve been there.”
During his time on Love Island, viewers watched former farmer Chris strike up a friendship with compatriot Kem Cetinay.
Although the two even had their own spin-off show, they aren’t that close these days.
Chris revealed: “I talk to Kem every now and then.”
He added: “Love Island is a bit like leaving school. A lot of you just go your own way and don’t talk to certain people as much, but it’s nice to stay in touch.”
The 30-year-old has left reality TV and is now a regular part of ITV Sport’s horse racing coverage.
