My Hero Academia manga has been postponed this week due to poor health, so when and when will chapter 376 be released worldwide now?

As the anime adaptation of My Hero Academia heads towards its mid-season finale, fans around the world will have to wait a little longer for the latest manga chapter.

Unfortunately, an illness has struck the series’ production team and with the holiday season just around the corner it’s the perfect time to take a break so everyone can enjoy the festive season, happy and healthy.

So what date and time will My Hero Academia Manga Chapter 376 release worldwide now?

My Hero Academia Chapter 376 release and delay

My Hero Academia Chapter 376 was originally scheduled to release this weekend, December 18th; However, the manga series has unfortunately experienced a new delay and will not be released as planned.

According to the official Twitter For the My Hero Academia series, the reason for the delay in chapter 376 is that the author, Kohei Horikoshi, is ill with an illness.

My Hero Academia, which was due to appear in Weekly Shonen Jump New Year’s 3rd issue (out December 19th), is on hiatus due to the author’s poor health.” – My Hero Academia Twitter.

An added comment from Shueisha via ComicBook read: “To all our readers, thank you for your support. Our author is ill. It happened too late to change the last table of contents.”

Viz Media currently lists Chapter 376 as now on Sunday 25th December, with Manga Plus listing the new episode as coming out at the following times:

  • Pacific Time – 7 a.m
  • Eastern Time – 10 a.m
  • UK Time – 3pm
  • European time – 4:00 p.m
  • Indian Time – 8:30pm
  • Philippine Time – 11pm
  • Australia Central Daylight Time – 1:30 am

However, fans should note that the original tweet describing the delay states that this is only the preliminary plan – unless Horikoshi’s health improves, expect the new chapter to be pushed back to January 1st.

How many episodes does the anime have left?

With Episode 12 of Season 6 airing today, December 17th, only one episode remains before the mid-season finale of My Hero Academia.

The good news is that the sixth TV season of the anime series will lead straight into a second season; bringing the total number of episodes to 25.

This has been confirmed in the official Blu-Ray listings for Season 6:

  • Volume 1 – Episodes 1-7
  • Volume 2 – Episodes 8-13
  • Volume 3 – Episodes 14-19
  • Volume 4 – Episodes 20-25
