A MED vacation is at the top of everyone’s wish list as many countries have beautiful beaches and great weather.
But they can also be quite expensive – unless you know where to look.

While France and Spain are popular with Brits, these can often be the most expensive.
The president of the Palma Beach Quality Offensive, Juan Ferrer, has warned Brits that islands like Mallorca will become even more expensive.
He said: “Holidays in 2023 will be around 33 percent more expensive than last year.
“Because of the island location, prices on Mallorca rise even more than on the mainland.”
But there’s another vacation island to visit this summer for great bargains.
According to Tim Hentschel, co-founder of the HotelPlanner booking platform, Malta is currently one of the cheapest Mediterranean islands.
He told Sun Online Travel: “This weekend I saw some great week-long holiday deals from the UK to Malta for under £300.”
The cheapest Malta holiday we’ve found is at the Canifor Hotel, with week-long all-inclusive stays starting at £302 per person.
The island has more than 300 days of sunshine a year with maximum temperatures of 32°C in summer.
Flights to Malta are just three hours from the UK – and from £21.99 with Ryanair.
The tiny capital of Valletta is practically a giant castle with fortifications winding around the coast.
It’s not too expensive once you’re there, with some cheap beers for as little as €2, and some pubs will let you take them to the nearby beach.
One of the most popular attractions is Popeye Village, built as a film set for the largely forgotten Popeye movie starring Robin Williams.
You can still visit the colorful attraction with water trampolines and boat rides.
Malta also has its own Blue Lagoon, which is a short ferry ride away on the island of Comino.
The crystal clear blue lagoon is situated on a white sandy beach and has warm water all year round.
Otherwise, water sports are popular on the island, such as sailing, kayaking, stand-up paddling.
Divers can also see some amazing underwater sites like a WWII battleship.

While Malta is the main and largest island, tourists often head to the island of Gozo for its beaches, as well as the islands of Comino, Filfa and St Paul’s.
We also found some other secret beaches all over Malta.
