The Gruffalo & Friends Clubhouse is an indoor play adventure where families can meet some of the famous characters.
From the deep forest in The Gruffalo to Princess Pearl’s castle in Zog, guests can play alongside the children’s book characters.
There will be seven different game zones including The Gruffalo, The Gruffalo’s Child, Zog, The Snail and the Whale, Room on the Broom and The Highway Rat.
In addition to a toddler-friendly play area for children under the age of three, there will also be areas suitable for children up to 10 years of age.
The attraction was developed in partnership with Merlin Entertainments, Magic Light and Blackpool Council.
Kate Shane, Regional Director of Merlin Entertainments said: “We are incredibly excited to bring some of the UK’s most beloved children’s characters to Blackpool.
“Blackpool is Britain’s favorite family seaside resort and this latest partnership with a globally recognized brand will offer visitors compelling new reasons to come to Blackpool.”
Alex Sanson, Senior Brand Manager at Magic Light Pictures added, “The Gruffalo & Friends Clubhouse will be the first of its kind and we can’t wait to bring to life this amazing place filled with play and adventure.”
The new attraction is scheduled to open in May.
It will join Merlin Entertainment’s seven other attractions in Blackpool, including The Blackpool Tower and SEA LIFE Blackpool.
It’s not the only new attraction coming to the UK this year.
A new Peter Rabbit attraction opens in Covent Garden this Easter.
And a Disney attraction is coming to the UK – but it’s not made for younger guests.
