Book Club: Next Chapter is a romantic comedy film directed by Bill Holderman from a screenplay he co-wrote with Erin Simms. It is a sequel to the 2018 box office hit book club with Diane Keaton (Diane), Jane Fonda (Vivian), Candice Bergen (Sharon) and Mary Steenburgen (Carol).
In the sequel, these talented actresses reprise their roles from the first film as four lifelong friends who run their own book club. After Vivian announces that she’s engaged, Diane, Sharon and Carol decide to celebrate the bride-to-be by taking her on a girls’ trip to Italy. But when they arrive in Italy, they quickly find themselves embroiled in a wild cross-country adventure rather than a relaxing vacation.
Andy García, Don Johnson and Craig T. Nelson also reprise their roles from the first film. The film also stars Giancarlo Giannini, Hugh Quarshie and Vincent Riotta. Where can you watch this new romantic comedy? Find out below.

Where to watch Book Club: The Next Chapter?
From May 12th you can only see this romantic comedy in cinemas. To find out if there are performances near you and to buy tickets, you can do so on websites such as fandangoAMC Theaters and Cinemark Theaters.
Also, since Focus Features is distributing it and NBCUniversal owns Focus Features, the film will most likely get to Peacock sometime after its theatrical release. In case you didn’t know, Peacock is the streaming home for NBCUniversal content.
We’ve typically seen films distributed by Focus Features arrive on Peacock around 45 days after their theatrical release. When this happens with Book Club: The Next Chapterwe will see the film on Peacock sometime in late June 2023.
