A NOUGHTIES rap icon announced a huge new show in Glasgow today.
Legendary hip-hop ace 50 Cent will take the stage at OVO Hydro in town later this year.
And the 46-year-old music star – whose real name is Curtis Jackson – announced he will be adding a new date to his Final Lap Tour.
The US rapper was originally only scheduled to play one gig in Glasgow on Thursday, November 9th.
But after the first gig sold out, he decided to return to the music-loving city for a second concert on Sunday 19 November.
The star took to social media to praise the “phenomenal demand” for tickets for him while also announcing new performance dates.
He also added a third show date in London.
According to the star, tickets to the new performances will go on sale this Friday, July 14 at 9am.
He wrote: “Britain! Due to phenomenal demand, we’ve added additional dates to THE FINAL LAP TOUR to celebrate GET RICH OR DIE TRYIN’ – 20 YEARS LATER with Busta Rhymes and Jeremih.”
“See you for a second show in Glasgow on November 19th and a third show in London on November 21st! Tickets on sale Friday at 9am BST – http://50CENT.com“
The rapper will be performing on multiple continents beginning in July in Salt Lake City, Utah, celebrating “GET RICH OR DIE TRYIN – 20 YEARS LATER”.
He then travels to Europe for his first show in Amsterdam in September.
As an added bonus, 50 Cent announced that he will be touring on all dates with fellow rapper and lifelong friend Busta Rhymes.
