Craig Cash is best known for his role as Dave on The Royle Family, which ran in three series from 1998 to 2000.

The 62-year-old from Manchester also took on the role of narrator for Gogglebox in 2016.
The actor and comedian replaced his good friend Caroline ahernewho sadly passed away at her home in Timperley.
He introduces the audience to the cast and their weekly show.
Craig recently admitted that some viewers were surprised when they recognized his voice.
“It’s weird because years ago people would come up to me and talk about the Royle family and they still do, but the weird thing about Gogglebox is younger people who haven’t seen the Royle family or any of my previous television work, some don’t even know.” “How I look,” he said Metro.co.uk.
“I can stand in line and when someone says something to me and I talk, the whole line looks around when they hear my voice.
“I have people come up to me and ask if I can say and record something for them, and I often obey if they’re nice, but when I go out to dinner … my wife just stares at me as I sit and says: ‘In Brighton.’ …’.”
In a 2018 interview, Craig spoke about the emotional impact of following in his close friend’s footsteps after her death.

“When Caroline died in July 2016, I took on the role of narrator.”
He is married to Stephanie Davies and the couple have two sons, Harry and Billy.
Early in his career, he worked extensively with his friend Aherne, who wrote comedies for The Fast Show and Mrs. Merton Show, among others.
Craig is also known for the 2015 series After Hours.
