Quest, the network that shows Salvage Hunters, shared the update with followers on social media.

They wrote: “T has decided to quit #SalvageHunters after 11 years on the road.”

“We want to thank T for bringing his dry wit and gentle charm to everything he did for the series, and wish him well in his future endeavors.”

John “T” Tee was by Drew’s side from the start, driving him from place to place and helping him load the truck.

In the short video, the bearded T told viewers that after 11 years, he decided it was time to move on.

He continued, “I’ve been fortunate over the years to work with an amazing crew, visit some stunning locations and film with some lovely people.”

“So thanks for watching, au revoir. But remember, we’ll always have Patina Turner.”

Fans of the show were devastated upon hearing the news and wished T all the best in the future.

One person wrote: “As I always say T, you are the epitome of a gentleman. Big respect to you.”

“We will miss you T – it won’t be the same without you,” added another follower.

While someone else wrote: “Oh no! Tea, it won’t be the same without your happy face and excellent jokes! Good luck for the future xx”
