The Sandman Season 2 isn’t coming to Netflix in January 2023

The sandman season 2 not coming to Netflix in January 2023! While we’re disappointed at the thought of having to wait for Season 2 to reunite with Morpheus (Tom Sturridge), the king of dreams, we’re not too surprised that the second part won’t make its way to our screens in this one Month. After all, the streaming giant only announced its extension in early November 2022.

Ever since the highly-anticipated show, which originally took 30 years to get a proper adaptation, made its debut on Netflix in August, fans of the dark fantasy series – adapted from Neil Gaiman’s best-selling DC comic book series of the same names – have been eagerly awaiting updates on the release of Season 2.

If you want to know when The sandman season 2 may be released on Netflix, please see below for the latest release updates.

The Sandman release update for season 2

From the beginning of January The sandman season 2 does not yet have a confirmed release date. Now that we know the series has been greenlit by Netflix for a second season, we can estimate when the show will return.

We can probably predict that production of the second season won’t take as long as the first as it was initially delayed due to Covid-19 and there are now fewer restrictions and casting is already complete should filming for the show not go ahead doesn’t take that long. With that in mind, we don’t think it’s unrealistic to predict our return to dreaming by the end of 2024. Of course things could be moving faster and the official release date could be different, but with the number of special effects required to bring this show to life, post-production could be holding things up, so keep that in mind! Until Netflix releases an official statement, we recommend that you take any release information with caution.
