The Traitors boss reveals exciting details about the ‘completely different’ second season after the big BAFTA win

THE Traitors took home Best Reality at the BAFTAs tonight with the hit reality show.
And Mike Cotton – producer of The Traitors, hosted by Claudia Winkleman – has revealed some details about the highly anticipated second season.
Speaking to The Sun at the BAFTAs tonight, Mike said: “Season two is going to be very different, like all good crime novels.”
“Now everyone knows how to play the game. We have to turn it on its head.”
He added: “There are always twists in the game. There will be new twists, we can make so much more out of it.”
Presenter Claudia, 51, admitted she initially advised producers not to make another series.
She said: “We were incredibly lucky, we had an incredible cast.
“I suggested the producers leave it at that — it’s quite nice to walk away and be done, to which they said, ‘Are you sick?'”
Finally, in February, the BBC confirmed that they are 100% not traitors to the show and that there will be another round.
Claudia will also return as the presenter of the UK version of the series.
Speaking of the return, Claudia said: “I can’t wait to go back to the castle and watch people on TV play the greatest game. I’ll knit a high funnel sweater right away.”
