The UK pub that has its own beach – and the ‘best views in the country’

A pub in the UK has some of the best views in the country – and its own beach too.
The Eddystone Inn is located in Devon in Heybrook Bay, a small village on the South West Coast Path.
In addition to sea views, the pub also offers both to eat and drink including Sunday roast and fresh fish from the bay.
You can even get married in the pub, where celebrations are offered in addition to birthdays and christenings.
People have praised the pub and one said on TripAdvisor: “The great new menu has so much choice it was really hard to choose, it had one of the best pub menus I’ve seen.”
“Couldn’t fault anything.”
Another wrote: “The view from the pub is spectacular.”
A third said: “It has to be one of the best pub views in the UK.”
The pub also includes nearby Heybrook Beach.
Located in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, the small bay is popular with both locals and tourists.
It’s not easy to get to – as a rocky path leads to the shore – but many have praised its crystal blue waters.
If you feel like it, both the pub and the beach are for sale.
It is being sold for £1.5million and will also include two apartments and a car park.
Bettesworths affiliated director Matt Bettesworth said, “Bettesworths is thrilled to bring this completely unique opportunity to the market.
“Having generated a lot of interest last month with the availability of Kents Cavern, we are pleased to offer another unique company with extensive assets.”
It’s not the only beachside pub that frequents this Summer.
The Ty Coch Inn in the village of Porthdinllaen near Morfa Nefyn, Gwynedd, Wales has been voted one of the top ten beach bars in the world.
And the Ship Inn at Low Newton-by-the-Sea in Northumberland once topped the list of best beaches pubs in the country compiled by Conde Nast Traveler.
Here are a few more beach bars where you can have a pint on the beach.
