And in the city of Suffolk, a giant new Ferris wheel will soon be standing right on the sand.

The 115-foot bike will have 24 cabins, each carrying about 140 people.

Construction of the attraction is expected to begin in next We hope it will open next month.

You’ll have to be quick though, as it will only be open for six months before being dismantled.

A&P Designs, who are behind the tourist attraction, said: “The city itself is somewhat dependent on its tourism industry and has not benefited from the media exposure that some seaside towns on the East Coast receive.”

“Therefore the applicant, in partnership with the Local Tourism Board, wish to increase the visibility of this very pretty, less commercialised, seaside resort to take full advantage of the increasing popularity of holiday destinations in the UK and so boost the local economy.”

“It is anticipated that this attraction would be a major draw for visitors, providing vantage points over the inaugural Blue Flag beach and the mouth of the Orwell River, as well as the harbor and beyond.”

Felixstowe Beach was recently voted one of the best in the UK following a survey of the beach Guardian.

One reader praised the “five miles of beach,” saying, “Felixstowe hits the perfect spot for being wealthy without being overbearing.”

It has also been voted one of the best places to live in the UK by The Sunday Times.
