Mia Maguire, who travels between Austin and LA for work, said she’s found the “game-changing” items that make flying economics a lot easier.

One item she swears by is a seatback bag that doubles as a tray cover.

While some airlines have pockets in the back of the seat, they’re often quite restrictive and can get messy.

Some budget airlines have scrapped bags altogether, making it that much harder to access your personal belongings during a flight.

Mia explained on Yahoo: “You have to reach down to dig through your personal item under the seat to find your headphones, lip balm, notebook, chargers…

“Well, you get the point… it’s a real hassle.

“This germ-blocking tray cover doubles as a storage container for personal items and is worth every penny (especially if you’re traveling with kids!).”

The bag has four compartments, including a large pocket for your laptop and smaller compartments for Kindles, water bottles and phones.

It slides over the tray table so you can avoid touching the surface, which previous studies have shown to be the dirtiest part of the plane.
