The Witcher Season 3 Release Date Update (February 2023)

There are some mixed feelings about it The Witcher Season 3 at this point. But that doesn’t stop us from wanting to see the consequences.

The Witcher: Origin of the Blood wasn’t quite what we had hoped for. Then we have news that Henry Cavill is not returning The Witcher after Season 3, although the series will be renewed. Things aren’t looking good for the franchise as a whole, and many of us are a bit apprehensive about the new season.

But we want to see the new episodes. As a Henry Cavill fan, I want to support him this final season, and that means keeping an eye out for when the new episodes come out on Netflix. It won’t be for a long time. I double-checked the February release list just in case, but the show isn’t there.

Of course I didn’t expect to see it. Netflix has already given us a season of when the show will be out.

The Witcher Season 3 Release Date Update (February 2023)

We’re expecting the summer of 2023 episodes. As showrunner Lauren S. Hissrich spoke colliders, she mentioned that it was still “eight” months away. That would then point to a release date in August or early September. That’s all we have to deal with now.

There are rumors that the season will be split into two parts. Hissrich doesn’t want that, but she wants to make sure all episodes are of good quality. If that means releasing half the season in the summer and half the season in the winter, then so be it.

The Witcher Season 4 has been confirmed and is currently in the writing phase. Redanian Intelligence says there are plans for a fifth season and production for both new seasons will be back-to-back. However, Netflix has not yet confirmed a fifth season. The streamer might want to see how fans feel about Liam Hemsworth in the lead first.

The Witcher can be streamed on Netflix.
