“These are kids and we keep putting them in harm’s way at school!”

LeBron James, like millions around the world, is still experiencing another senseless incident of gun violence. Earlier, on Tuesday, an 18-year-old man shot dead 14 students and a teacher at Robb Elementary School in Uvalde, Texas.

The LA Lakers superstar was likely waiting for Game 4 between the Golden State Warriors and the Dallas Mavericks to begin as he expressed his outrage:

“My thoughts and prayers are with the families of lost and injured loved ones at Robb Elementary School in Uvalde, TX! Like when is enough, my dear!!! These are kids and we continue to put them in harmful schools. Like seriously “SCHOLARSHIP”, where it’s supposed to be safest! “

Early reports from Texas tagged the dead shooter as Salvador Ramos. Senior investigators are also confirming reports that he killed his grandmother before the Robb Elementary School shooting.

Police officials have yet to release full details of what happened, but Texas Governor Greg Abbott gave a press conference. The shooting is now recorded as the deadliest school shooting in Texas history.

Abbott gave an overview of the stinging details of the murder in a somber media press conference:

“It was terrible, incomprehensible, he shot 14 students and killed a teacher. … He himself died. It is believed that the response officers killed him. “

President Joe Biden is said to have been taken aback by the news and will address the matter Tuesday night at the White House.

Terrible events must have struck James when he also built a public elementary school in his hometown of Akron, Ohio.

Education Weekly, which has been tracking school shootings since 2018, noted that the Robb Elementary School violence incident was the 27th this year. Excluding the tally from Uvalde, Texas, 21 students were killed in less than half a month.

“King James” calls people to action with a heartfelt plea:

“There simply has to be a change! WAS !! .. Pray to heaven above all with the kids these days at school. “

There simply has to be a change! MUST BE!! 😔😔😔😔🥺🥺🥺🥺 .. Pray to heaven above all with children these days at school. 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾

Five days before the Robb Elementary School shooting, two people were killed at East Kentwood High School in Kentwood, Michigan. While a graduation ceremony was taking place at the school, two lives went missing in the school parking lot.

James is perhaps the most influential figure in American professional sports. Hopefully his call to action won’t fall on deaf ears.
