Three killed, two injured in early morning shooting in Downey

Three men were killed and two others injured in a shooting in Downey early Sunday, police said.
Officers were responding to reports of gunfire at 12.45am at Block 8100 of Leeds Street, police said. Four men and one woman were shot.
Three of the men were pronounced dead at the scene, police said. The two injured were taken to a hospital, authorities said. No information was initially available about her condition.
The shooting is believed to be an isolated incident and there are no prominent suspects, Sgt. Tim Lau said. There was no information as to who initiated the shooting or what prompted it.
