Tickets to see the Philadelphia Eagles take on the Kansas City Chiefs in the Super Bowl are still available… for a price

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) — Tickets to see the Eagles take on the Chiefs in the Super Bowl are still available, but a trip to Phoenix will cost you thousands of dollars.
Around 2,300 tickets are still available for the big game, according to TickPick.com. The cheapest ticket costs $5,779, while the average price paid is closer to $7,500.
The most expensive tickets sold to date are $25,000.
When it comes to who buys the tickets, Eagles fans could be well represented at State Farm Stadium. Many of the tickets are sold in Eagles territory.
“The majority of purchases come from Pennsylvania and New Jersey,” said Kyle Zorn of TickPick.com.
This is how sales break down so far:
- 24% Pennsylvania
- 11% California
- 8% New Jersey
- 7% Kansas
- 7% Texas
- 3% Missouri
Flight costs are also expensive and have been rising for weeks.
Here’s what Friday’s fares looked like from Philadelphia International Airport:
Phoenix $750-$900
San Diego $700-$900
Las Vegas $350-$550

Amtrak offers rides to Phoenix for about $500, but it takes nearly three days.
The cheapest hotels are currently around $400 per night.
If you want to pay a fee and let the experts handle everything, consider spending $9,000-$10,000 per person at Philly Sports Trips.
“We’re still getting calls, we have some availability on the flight,” Philly Sports Trips’ Vince Rizzuto said.
His company chartered a plane for 200 people and they take care of everything for one price.
“Some families, as I heard on our trip today, spend $45,000 to get their entire family of four to go to the Super Bowl,” he said.
