TikToker claims she was “harmed” by knife left in Subway sandwich

A TikToker goes viral after showing off a knife allegedly left in her Subway sandwich – and she wants answers.

TikTok is a pretty popular platform when it comes to sharing crazy food shenanigans.

From weird “Healthy Coke” recipes to a man getting four days of free DoorDash orders, TikTok has launched a slew of viral food content… but this latest food debacle has users’ jaws dropping across the web.

TikToker Kayla Caswell uploaded a video to the platform on June 18 showing her recent order from Subway, a sandwich chain that essentially allows customers to “build” their own sub sandwich (with the help of a professional sandwich maker, of course). artist).

Subway is a popular restaurant chain known for their customizable sub sandwiches.

However, it looks like her sandwich artist accidentally left her knife in her sub.

In her video, she panned the camera left and right, showing the handle and blade of Subway’s signature green knives sticking out of either end of her sandwich.

“So, my husband and I ordered Subway tonight here in Syracuse, New York,” she began. “And I don’t know if you can tell or not, but this sandwich is a little different than other Subway sandwiches are supposed to be.”

Caswell then claimed she contacted the restaurant after noticing the utensil in her sub – but said they simply said, “Well, I don’t know what to do about it.”

She also claims she emailed Subway’s corporate headquarters with no response — so she’s making it her mission to make the video viral on TikTok until she gets replies.

That’s not all; Caswell says she even “harmed” herself with the knife.

Commenters were quite divided over the woman’s claims.

One commenter asked how she managed to miss the knife in her sandwich as she watched them line up their order, as is the norm in most Subway restaurants, while others found the situation amusing. Still others are urging the restaurant to take action as it may have harmed other customers.

So far, TikToker has not provided any updates on the situation a week after uploading their first video.

This isn’t the first time a subway-related incident has taken the network by storm; Back in 2021, a former employee at the chain was quickly fired after uploading videos of himself standing in ingredients.
