Tony Yayo says many street rappers are ‘damaged’
Tony Yayo says many street rappers have been hurt by what they lived and what they grew up in.
“Listen, 50 didn’t know who his father was and his mother was on the street and she was killed. There are no parents. Your grandparents are older. You’re damaged, brother. You been outside, the streets taught N-Ggas. You see a lot of shootings, you see an 18-year-old boy stabbing his 16-year-old girlfriend somewhere in New York because he thought she was cheating,” he told Vlad TV.
Yayo says that even with help, some people will never change.
“Muthaf-ckas is damaged, brother. It is what you see. It is what they see from the parents. It’s fucked up for certain places. Sometimes you want to help and try to fix people. Her husband says he does shit for the youth. This is real crap. Because that’s where it starts trying to help them, but some people can’t be helped. They only condemn bad seeds, bruh.”
