So she’s mastered a technique to get rid of them once and for all — and it doesn’t require much effort or elbow grease.

As part of her social media series ‘Third Cleaning Tips’, the Clean Queen, aka Lynsey, has revealed the solution to a common problem, while also revealing the secrets her trusty cleaning decision.

Holding a shirt in need of rescue, she explained on her personal page @lynsey_queenofclean that it works on two different types of stains.

“Whether you’re trying to get rid of sweat stains or roll-on deodorants, this simple trick is all you need to get rid of those nasty marks,” she says.

She then points out that the first and most important part of the process is to “reverse the outfit,” before getting to work.

Lynsey then offers her helpful step-by-step instructions.

“Now these stains are usually caused by sweat or deodorant,” she says.

“Use cold water to spray vigorously and then take liquid laundry detergent.

“Then, using a small brush, like a recycled toothbrush, gently brush into the fabric.”

Once you’re satisfied that the detergent has fully penetrated the fabric, it’s time to let the liquid work its magic.

Cleanfluencer continues: “Let it sit for about 15 to 20 minutes so you allow the product to really work, before putting it in the washing machine with similar items.

“Once the wash is done, voila – the stains are gone.”

But there is another important part, as Lynsey insists that the drying technique is equally important.

She adds: “Turn on the clothesline because sunlight is a natural disinfectant and will help enhance that effect.

Lynsey also says that “the best thing about this tip” is that “it also works on older stains,” meaning even the most stubborn stains will see results.

And fellow cleaning aficionados offered advice as they rushed to like and save videos.
