Tory Lanez posts message from prison: “I’m in great spirits!!”

After reports surfaced that Tory Lanez was very scared in the California prison where he was transferred, the rapper released audio of a phone call from prison to let his fans know that he is okay.
“Ayo, umbrellas, man. What is good? I’m speaking to you live from prison right now. I’m just glad to get out of this stupid county jail. They hated a young flyin’ nigga. Locked myself down 24/7, a half-sized cell alone. No windows. No mirrors. “N-gga hasn’t even seen each other for a whole year,” he said, possibly referring to his most recent mugshot.
He continued: “With all the disadvantages I faced, my head was always held high. I want you all to know that I am in great spirits. My drive and ambition are getting stronger every day. I’m so proud of how you all supported me. I know this feels like a scary time, but have no fear. This shit doesn’t strike any fear in my heart at all.”
Lanez was sentenced to 10 years in prison for shooting Megan Thee Stallion. His lawyer is working on his appeal.
